Yesterday my friend Amy and her husband Kev came by the house with a u-Haul truck.
First off, thank you, we can never match the generosity and kindness of Amy and family, and all our friends, family, acquaintances, and total strangers! Melanie and I are just floored!
Secondly, say a prayer for Amy’s stepdad, Tom, who passed away earlier this year from ALS after being diagnosed around the same time as me.
Amy brought a lot of Tom’s equipment down for us – bed, wheelchair, hoist, computer (Tobii!) and much, much more. Here’s a pic:
My garage is now full – more importantly, my heart is full! I am always overwhelmed by generosity I don’t deserve!
